Recent Developments
15 December 2009
As you can see from the lack of recent posts, the past few months have been very busy. I recently added new photos to the Lighting Design section of the site, and will be busy this month preparing for The Miser which is going up towards the end of January at WSC, just outside of D.C. proper.

The past month has been most eventful. Rather unexpectedly I have been accepted to the MFA lighting design program at Boston University. As such I am moving to Boston in approximately 10 days for the September 2nd start of classes. While I am going to miss living in D.C., this is an opportunity I cannot miss. Please keep checking back often as I expect there will be plenty of new developments.

It is long past due for this update. The summer finds me out of DC and in Ithaca, NY at the Hangar Theatre where I am the resident sound designer and engineer. We are already running the second mainstage show of the season, the musical Once on This Island. Up next I am designing the newest David Mamet comedy November before I jump into rehearsals for the fourth offering of the summer, Betrayal. For more information on everything going on this summer feel free to visit the Hangar's site.
15 April 2009
I have finally found time, at the start of my vacation no less, to update the sound design side of the site. Now you can feast your ears on some of the effects I have created and recordings I have captured. Some of the audio files are large so feel free to contact me by email if you have trouble loading anything. In other news, Small Craft Warnings a little know gem by Tennessee Williams is opening tonight at the Clarkstreet Playhouse, produced by WSC. As the Master Electrician I helped turn the lobby of the theatre into its own playing space. The smaller venue brings the audience closer to the action and creates a perfect atmosphere for the play.

The site is back up! Unfortunately due to a coding error a few people were unable to access the site recently. Pictures are posted from Conversations on Russian Literature, the project I recently designed for the Blue Coyote Theater Group. Check back soon, as I will be posting more goodies shortly.
8 February 2009
This update is coming to you as I travel by bus along I-95 north towards New York City. I will be designing lights for Conversations on Russian Literature presented by the Blue Coyote Theater Group at the Access Theater.
10 January 2009
Happy New Year everyone! May 2009 treat us all well. This month has me all over the D.C. Area. I will be lighting Jjana Valentiner's one woman show Funeral Potatoes opening January 29th at Flashpoint. Meanwhile across the river, I am once again undertaking the Master Electrician duties for WSC. This time they are producing Chekhov's classic The Cherry Orchard, and it opens January 15th. Lastly, at least for this update, I will be designing and installing the playback system for Constellation Theatre's production of The Marriage of Figaro opening January 22. It will be good to play in sound-land for a bit before I head back to Ithaca later in the year, where it looks like I will be designing three of the five mainstage shows for the Hangar Theatre's summer season while also being the resident sound engineer.
10 December 2008
I am working this week as the Lighting Designer for Rorschach Theatre's third installment of MYTH-APPROPRIATION. Six 10-minute plays are produced in one week, and this time they are all revolving around Jolly Old Saint Nick. The show runs for one night and one night only, this coming Saturday the 13th of December. In site news, hopefully I will have time to add some of my sound effects to the Sound Design section soon.
31 October 2008
Merry All Hallows Eve. I am currently working as the Master Electrician for the Washington Shakespeare Company's production of All's Well that Ends Well which opens on November 6th.
23 October 2008
As American As, presented by Journeymen Theater Ensemble open tomorrow at the Church Street Theater and runs until November 15th. In site news the lighting section received a facelift and more links where added. The next project will be embedding some audio in the sound section.
14 October 2008
HTML resumes are finally up and running, and pictures of my lighting design for The Shape of Things at the Florida Rep have been added to the lighting page (best viewed in 1024x768 or better). Also after some trial and error the site should render pretty well in IE 6.
1 October 2008
Resume links are posted and a online version will be implemented as soon as I learn how to make a table in HTML.   In other news, there is less than a week left in the run of My Fair Lady at the Virginia Stage Company in Norfolk, VA, after which time I will return to the DC area.
24 September 2008
The site is finally up.   Check back for updates and eyecandy.
